Introducing: hello Community Creator Spotlight

How to get featured as the hello community creator of the month!

Have you been working hard to grow your community? Does your community often share interesting or fun jots that the world needs to know about? Or do you have an awesome community culture that’s unlike any other on hello?

If so, you could be featured in our monthly hello Community Creator Spotlight!

How do I get selected?

We’re looking for awesome community creators who are active in their communities and promote a positive hello experience. Ideally, we are looking for community creators that:

• have an engaged community (recently posted jots, comments on jots, or discussions on message boards)
• who actively participate with members of their community
• set a good example by moderating their community and creating a welcoming place

You don’t need to be the most popular community on hello — we’re just looking to spotlight fun and friendly community creators with our hello fans and members.

How will I be notified if I am selected?

Each month, the hello team will nominate a community creator to be featured. The community creator will receive an email from the hello team with a request for an interview to be completed within 3 weeks.

What will the interview consist of?

Interviews will be done via email and will focus on your work as a community creator and what inspired you to create your community. The interview will be short and sweet — nothing complicated or stressful :) Our goal is to focus on you as a hello member and community creator.

Where will my community be featured?

We will feature your interview on our hello Medium page, as well as on our various social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram). We also will be sharing your interview inside of the hello app with other community creators.

When will the Community Creator Spotlight begin?

We will start contacting community creators on April 28th, 2017.
