Kseniya is an amazing woman. She has an odd and beautiful gift that I believe had to come from heaven. Kseniya is the amazing sand painter. Her art seems to tell stories. According to Wikipedia Kseniya’s parents discouraged her from a career as an artist. Kseniya explained, “It is a constant struggle. I knew that, and was ready for it. If you chose this profession, you’re struggling all your life. You do not enjoy everyday life — like comfort, and buying furniture… You’re always looking for something more, and actually, I was never interested in a life of comfort and buying furniture.”

Kseniya may have struggles as an artist, but you can’t ignore her beautiful work. There is one struggle that I do not see. I do not see her struggling to paint. Kseniya is constantly and smoothly moving her hands. She gives us something new and different in art. Yes, people have been known to create and draw in the sand, but not quite like Kseniya. She gives us sand performance suggested by her husband. It is an awesome idea.
