What Do you Believe in??
It looks like a simple question but it isn’t. I asked some of my friends, so i could get some perspective on young generations beliefs, principles and values.
Most of people are pathetically lost they don't even know their core beliefs. I don't know how even they are living.
Here are some answers, my friends gave me.
“ I believe in relationships” — Aashish and Nagendra.
“I believe in equality for all human beings and animals” — Niraj.
Niraj said that human thinks that they are special in some way but they are not.
Now i am writing the exact words of Akshay, i asked him on a mail and thats what he wrote.
“ One word- happiness. Apart from being happy, i believe in summer rains, fast internet, right to speak, Arvind Kejriwal. I believe in abki baar modi sarkar, freedom, free water, anal sex, goldflake, chris gayle and a million dollar salary” — Akshay.
“I believe that life isnt fair and god doesn't exist. I believe that everyday its a struggle for existence, whenever we eat we snatch away the food of some-one else, whenever we sleep we snatch some-one’s rest. I think its fair because thats how the world works. I believe there is no evil or good, there is just you and you have to exist., you should do whatever makes you happy, people surrounds you when you are happy and leave you when you are sad. Everything is fair if its make you feel good. Live the life unrestricted.” — Utkarsh.
“ I believe in doing something meaningful. I believe in closeness with loved ones, long treks, capturing the amazing moments, i believe in learning about different cultures” — Vivek.
What do i believe in ?
I believe in relationships, i believe in the unconditional love my parents, grandparents and siblings have for me. I believe in friendship, its the most important relationship for anyone and i am grateful for the great friends i have.
I believe in happiness, i strive for it, its what motivates me along with disorder and chaos. I believe that loneliness is best and worst thing in the world. Loneliness makes you so weak, vulnerable and pathetic that it can drive you to self destruction.
I believe that we all are capable of every fucking evil act happened or would happen in future. I believe that we all are capable of suicide, murder or any other heinous crime, its just depend on the surrounding conditions, freedom and restraints. I believe that world is unfair and their no way and no-one who can make it fair. Fair world can’t exist. There is no fairness in that some people are born mentally ill or crippled or blind, its not fucking fair that girls are raped every fucking day and there's no fucking god to save them. I believe in determinism, there is no fucking free will everything is fixed, although its a commonly held intuition that we have free will but the truth is, it doesn't exist.
I believe that we are just bunch of degrading molecules.
I believe in pointlessness and meaninglessness and its fucking good and bad at the same time. I believe that how hard scientists and philosophers try to find meaning, they can’t find, because even if it exists, its beyond our perceptions.
I believe that everything was alright until consciousness evolved, it fucked everyone and everything.
I believe in freedom (at least the sense of freedom), i love the sense of control it gives me. I believe in self-destruction, its what is happening with our body isn't it? Self destruction is better than getting killed by randomness. I believe that humans can achieve immortality someday but its not going to change any-fucking-thing.
I believe that all the technology, industrialization and consumerism made life more miserable and unhappy, the world doesn't need it.
I believe in hedonism, i believe in pleasure principle, i believe in stupidity because there is lots of it in the world.
I believe in chaos, randomness and disorder because it’s thrilling and interesting. Chaos is what i want to create and fricking fun. Lastly i believe that civilization led us to our pathetic and consumerist life, i believe there should be anarchy.
