I think Uber is a great service and I support Uber drivers. I would happily pay a fair price if it meant drivers could make a living. Uber’s own culture is its biggest liability, the one that treats laws as nuisances to be loopholed around, and drivers as an expendable, renewable resources. The public doesn’t look kindly upon robber barons and when we see the billions of dollars Uber has amassed we begin to wonder why they feel like they shouldn’t pay taxes or let drivers share in the success.
