Another great way is to get all 5 senses involved. We predominantly use the sense of sight to make sense of our world, but you can make any situation new by bringing in your other senses. For example, I ate a piece of watermelon and focused strictly on texture and taste after reading your post, and was pleasantly surprised with the outcome. It gave me a whole new perspective on an activity that I do daily. Thanks.
