How Much Do You Spend on Holiday Decorations?
Nicole Dieker

I’ve had a small-ish pre-lit fake tree for the last five years or so and I populate it mostly with ornaments from my childhood and a set of cheap ones from Target. Somewhere in my mother’s house is a garish set of 1950s jewel-toned tin ornaments that I claimed a long time ago but that we have been unable to find in years. I also buy my bf a joke “Christmas in New York!” ornament from Duane Reade every year. I have yet to find a tree skirt that isn’t a tacky mess.

Other than that, the only other decoration I bring out is the fancy expensive candle that smells like pine trees I bought at a fancy expensive candle sample sale.
