You missed a really important connection, though, which directly connects the two. Big Pharma spends a tremendous amount of money on advertising with these big media companies. The media relies on that money to stay in business. It’s why you’ll never see them doing any exposé on the pharmaceutical industry or practices or even scandals involving their drugs. It would be bad for business. Most people have never even heard of Purdue pharmaceuticals, because the MSM won’t cover the story. The will however, tell you to be sure to get your flu shot, over and over again.
