Thank you for putting all that into perspective, Svetlana. It was very informative. It’s been clear for a long time that NATO has been the aggressor on the Russian border, but it’s always spun completely differently in the western press and especially the mainstream media in the US.
Of course there is also a long story about the US competing with Russia to build pipelines to supply energy to Europe, which has been going on for something close to two decades. Neither side, it seems, is much interested in sharing the European market over securing a monopoly. Much of the conflict in the middle east is driven by that competition.
