I’m not telling you to stop. I’m suggesting your efforts are wasted with the tact you are taking and you can get better traction for the ends we want through different means. Please read again what I wrote. I’ve continually agreed your ends are something to be fought for. We are on the same side there. I just wish your efforts were placed elsewhere and that you should be more critical about your efforts to realize they are misplaced.

You seem to suggest that men are responsible for gender and that women had no input on the cultural gender norms of today. This I disagree with. The advancement of women and feminism I agree with. Suggesting that male to female trans support is really just support of men and shouldn’t be done is misplaced when trying to advance both trans and women. We both support trans advancement in society, I’d think, just as we both would support women’s advancement in society, I’d think. (Am I wrong?) I also would agree these two things are distinctly different. I disagree that the best tact is arguing the nuance between sex and gender. Gender norms can be changed without arguing for the change in the nuance of definitions that have been entrenched for 100s of years. I’m simply suggesting that efforts for advancement should take tacts that are actually meaningful in society, like educating people about their behavior and how people are treated as individuals, rather than trying to change nuanced vocabulary.

I do love how you keep to your argument though. Growing up, I was always told I’d argue with a fence post. I think you might be a kindred spirit in that regard. :)
