This is ignorant of human and social behavior. Who you learn to like and who you learn to love occurs in social settings, the primary of which for all kids are schools. Are you actually suggesting one should never even consider finding a boyfriend or girlfriend at school? Do you realize how dumb that sounds? Further, the notion of ones sexuality is a fundamental part of who they are. It cannot simply be ‘left at home’. You can only say such things from a dogmatic place as an adult and can never demand such from a group of children and adolescents. It completely goes against human behavior.

But it is also a strawman here. The argument is not about sexuality (which you seem uncomfortable with). The argument is about paying for it.

Yes, you can choose to not serve that Nazi in your restaurant. Sure, go ahead. But I do not have to fund you with tax breaks. That is the issue at hand. Not sexuality, not personally chosen morals. The issue at hand is not supporting something with tax dollars.

So imagine if you will that same Nazi (reducto ad Hitlerim much?) you described having their own restaurant, allowing only other Nazis to eat there, and then qualifying for a tax exemption because their Nazi point of view is somehow a political exemption category. Whould you support that?

The point is nothing other than the use of tax dollars to support whatever the discrimination may be.

Absolutely your freedom allows you to discriminate. Nothing here argues any different. Stop suggesting otherwise and read the post authentically without your bias. We need a government that does not discriminate with my money or yours.

You may support the Nazi. Fine. You may support the SBC too fine. But you have no right to discriminate with MY tax money. Im sure you feel the same way about what I support as well. So the only equal, sane ground is to support neither with the public funds. That is the issue at hand, not where we choose to express our sexuality. Wise up.
