Fallujah disclaimer: we did not back Forest’s embarrassing actions
Too early seen Unknown and known too late …(or fucking just in time)
I signed in to my Medium account only recently, as I was in a sort of writing vacation and had given up the last days of the year for good. This is the reason I was not aware of the entire virtuous paedophilia affair. Justin Forest was an editor of our publication Fallujah Magazine, but, for obvious reasons he is no more, and I cannot say I am not glad. Although it may go without saying Fallujah Magazine did not back any of the ideals presented by Forest neither did any of the other individuals involved in our project. I can only say “too early seen unknown and known too late” for our particular case. Notwithstanding any of this, Fallujah will continue to function in the same way with some brief restructuring that will be made evident these first days of the year. We are terribly sorry that such an incident has taken place but invite everybody to continue in the eternal fight that is writing, not only to try and comprehend our humanity or aberrations, but to heal the wounds created by such toxic characters; as a way of mourning our scars and cleansing our consciences of metallic knives.
