The Holy Grail

The quest begins when we embark from womb,

the safest cove in warmest solitude.

Then on, we sail above our sacred doom,

the undiscovered depths where quests conclude.

Our vessels, filled with passion’s waves, each clash

and kiss of our souls makes silent alchemy

of pain, crucibles burning life’s trash

away, revealing treasures of life’s sea!

Our ships soon sink, yet our gold alights as stars,

which guide young sailors through old fears to brave

love’s waters. Stars fall with love’s lost wars;

but with death, our heart’s trove renews heaven’s conclave.

Our kisses and clashes will turn night to day, then sun

and moon will meet two friends, when the quest is done.
