Friends, the rapid growth of our network makes us all happy. But the way to any success is impossible without the proper support of the community. The #MetaHash team is continuously working on developing updates to strengthen the decentralized network, increase its security and optimize performance. However, the step-by-step addition of new functionality is not enough for proper development because the contribution of users is no less important.
The foundation for a decentralized network is (in addition to the corresponding structure of the system) the availability of open source. Openness ensures that the source code of the system remain free, that they can be copied, studied and changed according to the community needs by the users themselves. Under the rating of the development activity on GitHub, where #MetaHash codes are located, our project is on the 25th place. For comparison, the well-known project TRON occupies 31 lines in this ranking. This means that the developers and users of our network actively interact, jointly shaping the system.
It is also indicative that our repository is used not only in the #MetaHash community but has also interested third-party developers — it already has more than 110 forks, and this number continues to grow. We are grateful to our users for their daily contribution to the project development: for example, Shamil (@sharapudinov), one of the most active users, wrote a script for the automatic issue of awards to delegators, Wesley (@WesleyCampbell) is developing an alt wallet, and, of course, don’t forget about those who are engaged in decentralized applications creating, enriching the network. We would also like to note the independent Explorer Metawat.ch, created by Nikolai Kirsch (@xboston), another enthusiast of our community. And, although we support #MetaHash Explorer, we are interested in forks development where additional functionality is possible. Because by providing an API, we give a tool for self-development and network strengthening to the community.
The network is built so that all users have the opportunity to influence the further fate of the #MetaHash project, receiving a reward for it. For the system, the time and resources of each of you are important, so, the future of the #MetaHash decentralized network depends on the common efforts of our community members.
