Over the past few months, the network has significantly changed, new members have appeared in #MetaHash community. Therefore, we offer another short list of important terms based on the most frequently asked questions.

Let’s start!

  • What is the feature of the DAO structure?

DAO is a decentralized autonomous non-profit organization. Such a system excludes a centralized management system concentrated in the hands of a limited number of people. In White Paper #MetaHash, the main goal of the project is to transform the #MetaHash structure into a DAO over time.

  • What is #MetaHashProxy?

#MetaHashProxy is a proxy node, one of the most important roles of #MetaHash network, a lightweight user client with the ability to use part of the hard drive as archive storage when forging is enabled. In practice, this means that in order to receive a reward for forging a wallet, the user must allow the network to use the resources of his PC. This can be done in the settings of #MetaGate.

  • What does Hard Cap stand for?

Hard Cap is the maximum delegation limit set for each role individually. If users delegate coins over this limit, they will not be rewarded. Therefore, when redelegation, users should carefully ensure that the #MHC volume does not reach this level.

  • Why do I need to back up wallets?

A wallet backup will help the owner to save the private key or QR code, without which it is impossible to restore access to assets — an individual password is generated when the wallet is created and cannot be changed or updated further. Therefore, we also recommend storing keys and codes on several portable flashes.

  • What is the difference between Torrent node and Infrastructure Torrent node?

Unlike the Infrastructure Torrent node, aimed at supporting the functioning of corporate users, such as banks, exchanges and others, the main function of this role is to accumulate data concerning transactions and users balances and to distribute this information further (requested by network participants/ on a regular basis).

That’s all for today!
