Guys, we continue to share with you the results of our joint efforts to improve the #MetaHash project. From August, we announced updates and innovations one after another. Let’s check them again?
In August #MetaHashCoin was listed on BitMax, one of the most rapidly growing and elaborated exchange with over 200,000 users around the world. #MetaHashCoin is now listed under USD and BTC pairs.
Further, #MetaWallet, a multi-currency wallet which is both an original application for #MetaHashCoin and one of the most secure and fast wallets for most popular cryptocurrencies, was released on iOS. The new version includes such features as support of Bitcoin, Ethereum, #MHC cryptocurrencies, forging interface, and other minor updates. The Android version of the wallet is still in beta.
The second generation of a Peer Node allowed users to process requests faster and work on weaker hardware. A Peer node does not keep the blockchain state in memory, therefore, does not require significant computing resources — now it requires even less, isn’t it great? By the way, we have collected and uploaded the necessary files to Docker, so you just need to download it to your device and start working!
After this, we announced the code of Verification and Core nodes on GitHub! This is one of the most important steps to project decentralization! Verification node has sufficient processing capacity, so it can be used for synchronization as the network’s communication layer for the Cores. In its turn, Core nodes are key players in the consensus. They generate a block from the incoming transactions, verify its correctness and transfer to the nearest Verification nodes.
The full decentralization of the project is not far away — we only need to take a few steps. We will talk about them in the next article.
