Her moments after are unclear, which has left her family with nearly 20 years of unexplained mystery, until what they thought was and possibly still might be a promising lead — a photo that may indicate something about Kelly or what became of her.

When I look at these cases, it’s just people going about their day. They don’t wake up and know they will be missing. I don’t believe anyone is prepared for that, especially for a case so cold where they’re gone without a trace for nearly 20 years.
