The Disappearance of Alexis Patterson: A Routine Walk to School with Her Stepdad, Just to Never be Heard From Again | Case 3

On May 3, 2002, at around 7:40am, 7 year old Alexis Patterson and her step father, LaRon Bourgeois, walked to her school at Hi-Mount Community School, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. When Alexis didn’t come home at her usual time, her mother, Ayanna Patterson, rushed to her school, only to find out that Alexis was marked absent and never made it to school that day. Alexis was never seen or heard from again. 14 years later after her disappearance, a man from Bryan, Ohio came forward to say that his ex wife, Lisa Miller, may be Alexis Patterson. Once this information got back to Ayanna Patterson, Alexis’ mom, it lead her to believe that she may have found her missing daughter. With a lead being this strong, Milwaukee police does not believe this to be true — Ayanna has a different output on this lead.
