Life rules which I applied today while I was out — and which we should all practice every single day. I just thought I want to create a list and share (because I see a lot of people not doing them).

1. Offer your seat to the elderly (or pregnant women, women / men carrying children, people with special disabilities) or whoever is allowed on the first coach.
2. Hold the door for whoever’s going to come in / out next.
3. Learn how to say thank you.
4. Greet back. Greet back when security guards say “Good afternoon”, greet back when janitors say “Welcome”, greet back when sales ladies say “Thank you for coming.”
5. Report inferior service or answer restaurants’ evaluation cards.
6. Give considerable tip when it’s well-deserved.
7. Say “excuse me”.
8. When people push you at the train or in any public transport for whatever reason, do not push back. Step back and give way.
9. Do not be an enabler.
10. Listen to street musicians. They’re a treasure.
11. When riding the escalator, stand on the right and leave the left lane open for passers.
12. At the train station or in elevators, let people out before you enter.
13. Let go of things you cannot control (like the rain!)
14. Bless people who sneeze.
15. Find time to go out with a friend.
