We’ve all been there, haven’t we? That moment when you catch a glimpse of yourself in the mirror, and instead of just seeing your reflection, you see a mosaic of every expectation, opinion, and judgment ever hurled your way. It’s like being in a funhouse where the mirrors don’t just distort your image; they shout back at you. “Too loud,” “Too quiet,” “Too this,” “Too that.” Well, I’ve been walking through that funhouse for quite some time now, and let me tell you, I’ve learned a thing or two about silencing those noisy mirrors.

I remember the days when I would bend and twist myself into shapes that pleased others. It was like being a contortionist in a circus, except the applause was replaced with nods of approval and the occasional, “You’re doing it right!” But who defines “right”?
