The Nemots TCG — Gameplay Overview
The Nemots TCG is the new and innovative Play and Earn game to come onto the market in Q4 this year.
The Nemots TCG is a gameplay-first, single and multiplayer digital trading card game (TCG) built on blockchain technology where players create NFT cards with beyond-this-world, randomised characters that have unique abilities — called ‘Nemots’. Nemots can be levelled-up by risking them in battle in turn-based, competitive matches for the chance to earn $NTCG.

Users will immerse themselves in a rich and dynamic gaming environment experiencing many unique features and benefits:
- Nemots: Season 1 offers over 1.8 million Nemot combination possibilities — including 53 animals, 50 items, and over 50 extras
- Single player: a robust and challenging single player mode that will teach and challenge players, as well as reward them with their efforts. Starting with 2 modes and growing to include additional modes, the single player game will be the first place to test decks without the concern of losing card values. These modes are Training, Adventure, and The Nemots TCG.
- PVP: challenging other players matched to your ranking in intense battles. Across four modes: Toothless, Novice, Pro, and Insane, the PvP allows players to determine their level of risk versus reward, but only the brave end up with the best deck
- Create and trade: each player will be able to create, collect and trade NFTs — called ‘Nemots’ from other players as well as orbs, creatures, spells, health packs, or components and earn exclusive drops from watching matches on Twitch
- Card forge: players will burn orbs by using their fragments to create new random Nemots. The rarer the Orb, the rarer the Nemot! Additionally, during card forge, it’s possible to add components to the card, altering its elemental makeup.
- Earn Fragments by winning battles: the power of battle. The more players win the more a player earns. It only ends, when it ends. The fragments can be swapped to $NTCG after a 72-hour wait period.
- Instant payouts: players will no longer have to wait for the usual embargo until fully receiving their whole prize;
- Cross-chain expansion: a gaming ecosystem that supports and fuels earnings in a cross-chain environment.
Nemots
Beyond its dedication to a high standard of gaming excellence, the heart of The Nemots TCG is its Nemots. These bizarre-yet-adorable half animals, half-object creatures are unique combinations of art and unique mechanics, a first for the play-and-earn genre.
Nemots possess random and non-random traits, ranging from condition ratings to rarity, art, stats, mechanics, and elements. Every Nemot is equipped with two abilities in addition to a hidden third power. With over 1.8 million Nemot combination possibilities — including 53 animals, 50 items, and over 50 extras, each Nemot is quite literally one in a million.

- Condition ratings: the quality of each NFT card deteriorates
with each death in-game. It’s possible to repair condition rating, though repair components are rare - Rarity: Nemots vary in rarity, based upon the quality of The Nemots TCG orb used to create them. The rarest Nemots can actually gain an additional ability once they achieve a certain level
- Components: each Nemot has components that are related not only to its element but also to random assets that are assigned on creation. Many of these components are not explicitly known until the Nemot card is burned, rewarding players who burn their unwanted cards with additional surprises.
- Abilities: each creature has two random abilities that are based upon the combination of inanimate objects and animal energies. Additionally, each card has a third ability that remains hidden until it becomes unlocked through levelling up.
- Attributes: each Nemot NFT card has the following attributes: Condition, Rating, Rarity, Elements, Stats, Abilities, Level, Components, and Art. All these characteristics combine to decide the strength and abilities of your Nemot during games.
The quality of each NFT card deteriorates with each death in-game. It’s possible to repair condition ratings, though repair components are rare. The scale is as follows:
- GEM-MT 9 (Gem Mint Quality)
- NM 8–8.5 (Near-Mint Quality)
- GR 7–7.9 (Great Quality)
- VG 6–7 (Very Good Quality)
- GO 5–6 (Good Quality)
- AV 4–5 (Average Quality)
- NA 3–4 (Near Average Quality)
- FA 2–3 (Fair Quality)
- PR 1–2 (Poor Quality)
Gaming Mechanics
Gaming is at the heart of what we do. So it only makes sense to create a fun and exciting gaming layer.
Two players compete against each other in a digital card battle that has a fighting—game layout. Each player takes turns playing their NFT cards strategically, trying to gain an advantage over the other player while their 5 — minute clock ticks down. These cards can be powerful creatures or can alter the rules and the order of turns. But once a card is on the board, it is vulnerable to damage, so players must carefully weigh their actions.

We take the user experience and gameplay very seriously above anything else. That’s why we have moved some on-chain features to Binance Smart Chain and Polygon alongside Phantasma. We will continue to hear what our gaming community is looking for and what better fits into our platform, keeping exploring enhanced features of security, speed, and decentralisation of layer 1 and layer 2 chains. Most and above all, we keep the goal of building an infrastructure that allows for a truly interoperable future where you can move and transact gaming-related fungible or non-fungible tokens in a seamless manner. Several gamers haven’t had any previous experience or contact with crypto or blockchain so we will keep building tools that can simplify their onramp into the crypto world either through fiat solutions or skins which are widely used.
