I like hockey. And I like statistics, analysis, and statistical analysis (which has been branded as “analytics”). And I also like programming. So this hockey analytics movement should be right up my alley — and it is — but sometimes you need to take a step back, step away from your computer, plant some flowers, go for a jog, watch a tv show, visit your local discotheque, enjoy a popular movie in one of the dozens of moving picture cinemas across the country, have a beer, hug a loved one, touch yourself, or whatever you enjoy. It’s certainly not worth getting into an hour long argument about hockey analytics with a stranger on the internet — unless that’s something you enjoy — if so, please proceed.
