In case you missed President Barack Obama’s address today at Boise State University, watch when he gives a shout out to HACKFORT and the Boise community for collaborating on education and progress.

And just like we pick up a tool to build something new, we can pick up a skill to do something new. And that’s something that you’re doing right here in Boise. You know every year you sponsor HACKFORT, which is for those of you who are not aware, a tech festival that brings the community together to share knowledge and new skills with each other. I know that we’ve got folks from some of Boise’s dozen or tech meet-ups here today.

Here at Boise State, innovation is a culture.

Barack Obama, President of the United States of America Hackfort is a tech/creative extension of Treefort Music Festival, taking place in downtown Boise, Idaho March 26–28, 2015. Events include presentations, panel discussions, hands-on hacking, creating, collaborating and more.
