A place that I could call my own
To live my life in peace and laughter
Where I could watch the heavens dawn
And hope for blissful ever after.
A place to retreat at will
And unravel my mind’s maze
A heaven should I fall ill
To be encompassed in a gaze.
It is not much this wish of mine,
That I ask of greater powers,
Some small help from the divine
Would comfort me in passing hours,
For each of us must have his place, beneath the sky’s blue dome
A comfy, well lit space that I can call a home.
