We are pleased to announce a significant update to the Old Castle Defense (TOCD) ecosystem: a new tip system and $FOMO points on the Base blockchain, a Guild page, and a first-entry school. This update is aimed at increasing user engagement, encouraging active participants, and optimizing the user’s immersion in the game. accumulation and use of tips. Tipping System and Points

In TOCD, the tipping system allows users to send and receive tips in the form of $FOMO Points, which can be converted into $FOMO Tokens. The new system contains several improvements designed to make tipping more understandable, effective, and rewarding for everyone.

Understanding Points Balance

Points Balance is the amount you accumulate by receiving tips from other users. This balance affects your share in the distribution of $FOMO tokens. The more tips you receive, the higher your Tip Balance.

How to Earn Points Balance:

• Other users can send you tips in Warpcast, increasing your Tip Balance. The more tips you receive, the greater your Tip Balance.

Multiplier: Enhancing Your Tip Balance

The Multiplier is a coefficient that increases the amount of tips you receive based on the $FOMO tokens you hold. The more $FOMO tokens in your balance, the higher your multiplier, allowing you to receive more tips.

The maximum multiplier value is 2. To get it, you must keep 100,000 $FOMO in your wallet, a smaller amount of $FOMO gives a smaller multiplier value.

Example:

• Alice tips Bob 10,000 $FOMO.
• Bob receives 20,000 $FOMO because he has a multiplier of x2 (he holds 100,000 $FOMO in his wallet).

Conditions for Receiving a Multiplier:

1. Holding Period: Users must hold $FOMO for at least three days after the first snapshot to maintain their multiplier.
2. Resetting the Multiplier: If a user sells or transfers $FOMO from their wallet, their multiplier resets.

Understanding Allowance

Allowance indicates how many tips you can currently send to other users.

How to Increase Allowance:

• Recast frames created from the @tocd account with the “Allowance” or “5000 $FOMO” buttons. Each recast increases your Allowance.

Rules and Restrictions of the Tipping System

1. One Tip per User per Game: A user can only receive a tip from another user once per game.
2. No Barter Tips: Exchanging tips through barter (mutual tips) is prohibited.
3. Maximum Tip Size: The one-time maximum amount of sending tips for one person is 10,000 $FOMO.

Distribution of $FOMO

How $FOMO is Distributed:

• 20% of the 40% Community Incentives: 20% of the 40% of all $FOMO designated for Community Incentives will be distributed among all users with a Tip Balance > 0. This amounts to 8M $FOMO, which will be distributed proportionally to your Points Balance.

How to Convert Tip Balance to $FOMO:

• A smart contract for converting Tip Balance to $FOMO tokens is being developed. The conversion will occur with seasons (Example: $DEGEN Monthly Claim via Smart contract).

This feature is designed to bring players together, foster community, and amplify the strategic depth of The Old Castle Defense (TOCD).

Invite Friends to the Guild and Earn Together

Creating a guild in TOCD allows you to invite your friends and earn together. Guilds provide a platform for players to collaborate, share strategies, and collectively enhance their gaming experience. By joining forces, you can pool your resources, support each other, and increase your chances of winning battles and sieges.

Get 10% of the game fees for each transaction of your Guild members.

How to Create or Join a Guild

• Invite Friends: Send a referral link (DRS) to anyone who wants to join your guild. The more members you have, the stronger your guild becomes.

The Reward for Unity

Guilds that noticeably influence the battles and make the game more interesting will be rewarded at the end of each Siege. TOCD Studio will distribute 10% of the game’s fees to the most impactful guilds. Additionally, guilds that frequently win sieges will be eligible for grants from TOCD Studio, allowing them to recruit more players and further enhance their power.
