Burning Out Taught Me the Art of Being Kinder to Myself

Hello, Ethan Hawley.

You make such great points, and it makes me reflect on the moments I find myself burning out as a teacher. I definitely think that people burn out because of perfectionism as you have stated, but also the natural desire to give ourselves more to others, to our work, to everything we do in life. Unfortunately, not all of us are blessed with superpowers to balance this feat out, and I try to remind myself and other fellow burn-outers (not a word) who deal with the same dilemma.

Thank you for all of your soulful and insightful articles! :)
