️⃣ Julyana Acevedo reminded us to push ourselves beyond our comfort zones. Sometimes, we need to force ourselves to take that extra step and seize new networking opportunities.
️⃣ Melat Zewdie’s suggestion to start a random conversation resonated with me. The most unexpected connections can often lead to incredible collaborations and professional growth.
️⃣ Catherine Augello highlighted the value of finding a buddy. Having someone by your side during networking events can provide support and encouragement and even help expand your network.
️⃣ Kabo reminded us to find common ground when engaging with others. Discovering shared interests or experiences can be a fantastic icebreaker and foster meaningful connections.
️⃣ Bethany Goad suggested asking ourselves, “Who should I connect with next?” This reflective question can guide us towards identifying individuals who align with our professional goals and aspirations.
🔟 Lastly, Kate Nelson encouraged us to join in and volunteer. Actively participating in industry-related events and initiatives showcases our dedication and allows us to connect with like-minded professionals.
