The Particle Point System — A Currency System in Development

The Photon Team firmly believes that a well-rounded project must consider all angles from its intellectual property to the finer details on community engagement and value generation.

Our overall mission, to state this clearly, is to create a system of itemization: Our NFTs will be used to build secondary Molecule NFTs, and then tertiary Items that can be used in the Metaverse for purposes of MMORPG/Adventure RPGs while remaining open to partnerships in other domains of the Metaverse.

As part of our vision, we are also implementing a deflationary aspect to our NFTs by introducing a burning mechanism in the process of constructing secondary and tertiary NFTs.

As a placeholder system for an ultimate ERC20 token that will carry these mechanisms of deflation, valuation, and a system of commerce for our products, we are announcing the Particle Points System. This system will determine how the ultimate cryptocurrency itself will first be distributed to our early adopters and community, in addition to public sale of the currency.

Particle Points System

Particle Points (PPs) can be gained in a variety of different ways, and we’ll split them by category.

Community Engagement

In our Events Schedule on Discord, you will see that we have a few events occurring throughout every week.

i. Friday Game Nights → As part of our streamed Friday game nights, a variety of jackbox games will be hosted where members who participate will get points, and winners will get more points. For participation, you will receive 6 PPs. For winning, you will receive an additional 3 PPs. There is a cap of 18 PPs per member per game night.

ii. Sundays “Noise Reduction” → Every Sunday we will play a “deathroll” game. If you are not familiar with deathrolling, this is how it will work:
1) Every player will choose a number from 0–31.
2) The quantum computer spits out a number from 0–31.
3) Every player who correctly guessed the number remains in and picks another number from 0–31.
4) Steps 1–3 are repeated until one player is left.
5) If the computer does not spit out an exact match, the winner will be determined by the next closest number. Winners get 50 PPs. If you win with an EXACT match, you get 60 PPs.

iii. Invite Contests → We have an invite tracker that tracks invites and whether they are real, fake, or left. Every night we will tally the invites and update member’s PPs (when invitees leave or fake ones are invited, they will not count towards PPs). Every invite will be 2 PPs.

• We have a running thread for ideas and feedback and welcome all suggestions to increase community engagement.

Raffles

i. Weekly Quantum Raffles → Every Wednesday after minting is launched, the quantum computer will determine a string of numbers. If you hold a Particle NFT with those numbers, you win 400 PPs (this is basically winning the lottery, the more Particle NFTs you own, the more likely you’ll win).

ii. Special Raffles → Collaborations and/or partnered giveaways may contain PPs as a winning prize along with a Particle NFT.

Trade

i. Member-Member → Members are able to exchange NFTs and PPs. They can decide to use them to transact trades in whichever way they please. Keep in mind, until the ERC20 contract is developed, this would be occurring at your own risk.

ii. Member-ParticleExchangePool → The community wallet will contain reserved Particle NFTs AND monthly NFTs from floor sweeps. If you choose to sell your Particle NFT to this exchange, you will receive 400 PPs.

iii. Member-DecentralizedExchange → Selling your Particle Points for other cryptocurrencies will be available once it is implemented into an ERC20 Token.

What can Particle Points be used for?

1. The Metaverse Lab → Particle Points will be necessary for combining your Particle NFTs into secondary NFT Molecule (the only other way to do this is winning or buying a secondary NFT Molecule). Particle Points will also be necessary for DECONSTRUCTING a secondary NFT back into the Particle NFT components. The exact cost of these will be proposed in Tokenomics proposal after we have a better idea of the community size and conversion.

2. Securing a Presale Position → 400 of the 2000 presale positions can be purchased with 50 PPs. The order of priority for these spots in case more than 400 are trying to purchase them is Pioneer>Proctor>Researcher.

3. Particle NFTs → Particle NFTs can be purchased with 500 PPs.

4. Merchandise → The current list of merchandise being designed includes T-shirts (with Pioneer and Proctor-specific versions), hats, 10k physical art wallpapers, and a special rare 3D Particle model of your NFT.

5. Numberless high-resolution version of your NFT

6. Particle Points can be used in a betting-like fashion to reserve presale spots for Molecule NFTs and upcoming tertiary NFTs/Items.

7. Ideas and feedback channel is open for suggestions, we are constantly discussing within our innovations section how to generate more value.

Burning Mechanism:

• PPs are burned during construction of Molecules or Tertiary Items, and during deconstruction as well.
• They are also burned when purchasing NFTs from the exchangepool.
