This is a powerful, sad and triumphant in parts article. The rise of Kanye West was glorious and for a poet like myself inspirational. A lot of his music is still great and those first albums are legendary. It’s tragic to see all Kanye goes through personally and I root for him to find peace because I believe with all he has a part of him is still looking for that peace, the kind that surpasses understanding. It’s sad that some of his outbursts or antics, or whatever anyone wants to call it has ruined his legacy in ways, but I think no one can deny the man is a genius and a legend in Hip Hop. Great article here though Brad.
