Everything in the universe has a theme song.

Regardless of what it is: you see something and it speaks to you — usually subconsciously. Central to the flavor of the B-Boy Guide is not only the recognition of this fact, but the absolute ownership of it. Every member of the Massive & Crew needs to articulate his or her vibe, style, essence, or whatever you want to call it…

What I’m getting at is your theme song (music). Your look says something. Your style says something. Your skillset says a lot about who you are. It’s not just what you do — but how you do it. So let’s set it to music. When you walk into a room, you emit (feel your) musical vibrations — but not everyone in the room can hear/feel it. We’ll now they’re going to feel it.

You’re going to broadcast your theme song.

You’re going to do that by coding your speech — meaning peppering it with lyrics and verses from the music or song that currently reflects your mental state. We’re not trying to create a mastermind in the office; however, it will allow the organization to understand the needs and motivations of team members without having to sit down in endless meetings “talking it out.”

Get into alignment quicker. Make a bold statement faster. Allow game to recognize game.

Sounds cool — but how does it work? Good question. Let’s use the B-Boy Guide as the example. Why you ask? Because the B-Boy Guide is a living, breathing community that is teaching the leadership perspective in the modern business world. So what does that mean? And more importantly, what does that sound like? It sounds like:
