Here’s my review of Day 8 of the 'Purpose Driven Life' By Rick Warren.
Today's title reads "Planned for God's Pleasure."
In one of my previous reviews, I mentioned that we're not afterthoughts, created to just fill up space here on earth and pass time.
Infact, God made earth conducive for man, which means He had thought of man before He created the earth.
We were planned for God's pleasure. Not only through spiritual activities, but also in our friendships, relationship with family, at work, during our evening walks, while we eat, and enjoy moments alone or with people.
God just enjoys us.
How we actually bring pleasure to God is by doing things like we were doing it for Jesus.
Being an intentional friend like they were Jesus.
Serving other like we're serving Jesus.
Working at the office like we were working for Jesus.
This, is true worship.
This here, is what I learnt from Day Eight.
