Being that psyduck in this world
Psyduck is constantly stunned by its headache, and usually just stands there vacantly, trying to calm it. Its appearance is also an often running gag, as it is always released by mistake — According to its official description on Wikipedia. It is probably a character that is being described as silly rather than innocent or cute.
I do resonate those moments when wildcard thoughts fly across my head and I would want to stop, rewind and back up slightly, in order to get that thought cleaned up in my head. Yes, I am probably that weirdo who stopped right in front of you this morning and blocked your way right at the corner next to the coffee shop.
As the first piece of writing with this account, I would like to clarify that I am actually a young adult that constantly thinks, (or even overthink) and often got myself trapped in my own thinking.
As a recent graduate, who has been actively applying for jobs, I have been thinking about the huge gap between academia and the real world. Although the gap varies from discipline to discipline, they are often as obvious as two separate silos, that only happen to be on the same lot.
I sometimes wonder, how recruiters choose which candidate to move on from the first resume screening.
Do they actually look for skillset or mindset?
