Thank you for making such a tragedy a testament to the way humanity should be. I’m a mother of two and they are older. I still try to protect them. I still tell them all the time to be careful. I still encourage them not to go out on holiday weekends at night because of drunk drivers. I still try not to think of someone or something harming them because it will cause me to go mad.

Yesterday I had a conversation with my son about something he’s about to do that I’m not a fan of. Nevertheless, as his mother I will support him and fly out to be with him because my fear is that something bad could happen and he would not be surrounded by someone that loves him.

What a beautiful thing you did. As a mother it doesn’t bring back the child, but it does provide some peace. You loved someone out of this world.
