Helen Adams Keller was born on 27 June 1880 in Tuscumbia, Alabama, U.S. She was an American author, political activist, and lecturer. She was the first deaf-blind person to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree. She travelled to twenty-five different countries giving motivational speeches about Deaf people’s conditions.
