If the cities “weren’t meant to support this concentration” then they had no business zoning for all that commercial property in the first place.
Cities decide for themselves where and how much land to zone for commercial uses.

Pay some attention here people. These companies were invited — even incentivized to move there. And the city didn’t “plan” accordingly. Y’all wanted your cake and someone else’s and reality is sinking in. Too much short sighted thinking, which will not be resolved by yet more short sighted thinking.

Long term thinking and vision is hard, and so is the path that comes from it. But if you really want problems solved, not merely kicked down the road until you can personally benefit for a while, it is necessary.
