Bravo, Pete! IMO this is a really good start on better staffing policies, and getting at the true meaning of diversity. Affirmative action for ethnic or racial labels, just like male/female labels, shortchanges the growth of culture.

Just trying to sort out what yin and yang mean is going to be tricky, but the more we start to understand the qualities we are trying to assemble into a leadership or functional group will open a lot of doors to more inclusive practice and better results in all sorts of venues.
