I’m with you on broadening the conversation on ‘feminism’ so less time is spent railing against inequities- which are plentiful, and more time on building new communities of understanding. Everyone is coming at this from the pain in their own experience, and hopes for a better life.
Feminism, celebrating the feminine, must embrace its expression all across the spectrum of biological and psychological gender. “Feminine” and “masculine” are multilayered clusters of attributes in relationship, so it is impossible to define them closely.
We can talk about how we treat each other, however, and whether we are blessing or hurting each other with our expectations and actions.
