Removing pubes: We’re not just splitting hairs
Izzy Tolhurst

This has been on my mind as a man who doesn’t like to shave, and who doesn’t think women should have to shave either. I have a vested interest- as a man who likes women’s clothes —since a big part of the jarring visual for my critics is having hair where people who are allowed to wear dresses are not allowed to have it!

Gender appearance norms are intended to strengthen the sense that men and women are different- when mostly, and in the most important ways, we are the same- we can all love purely, forgive thoroughly, be brave, and wise.

Taking a new look and dropping troublesome gender appearance norms is an appropriate step in our social evolution.
