Leopard geckos are one of the most perfect pets for those looking to experience the joys of having a reptile friend without breaking the bank. Hopefully after reading through this guide you will know whether or not a leopard gecko is right for you!

Age range: 10–20 years

Total Adult length: 7–9 inches depending on sex

Housing

Leopard geckos need at least a 20-gallon long tank as adults to thrive. As babies, they will be just fine in a 10-gallon as they grow.

Your gecko will need at least two hides in their tank (more on that later), as well as a water bowl and a food bowl.
