There’s a lot of entertainment at this art gallery that is also a popular bar. With board games and a fun atmosphere that’s continuously featuring new artists, you’ll never be bored here.They even have Instax Polaroid cameras to rent so you can take pictures with friends. It’s nice to have photos that aren’t just on Instagram or Facebook!
Hauser & Wirth
901 E 3rd St
Located in what used to be an abandoned flour mill, this gallery in the Arts District is full of surprises. With free admission and a wide, open space, it’s easy to spend a lot of time here. The Manuela restaurant is located in the same complex, so plan on grabbing a bite to eat before or after walking through. There’s a gift shop with interesting goods and a chicken roost outside.

Brewery Artwalk
2100 N Main Street
This is a biannual event where artists who live in the art commune open their doors to the public. Artists talk with attendees about their exhibits, and there are food trucks in the beer garden outdoors. Put on your walking shoes, because it’s easy to spend hours immersed in the numerous exhibits here.
Downtown LA Art Walk
W 4th Street
On the second Thursday of the month, artists take over streets in the downtown area, and selected galleries open their doors. There are tons of vendors on the streets selling unique items like flower crows and henna tattoos. It has the potential to get pretty packed with people!
