Powerful but Short Prayer for Healing and Recovery
A prayer for healing and recovery can be used for either yourself or someone else in your life. There are some further examples and advice on how to get the most out of your prayer further down. But it really can be something short and simple like:
Lord Jesus, thank you that you love [name of person who needs healing]. I know that you hate what their illness is doing to them/me. I ask that you would heal this disease, that you would have compassion and bring healing from all sickness. Amen
When praying for healing, approach God with humility. Thank Him for the gift of life, the far He has been with you; thank Him for good clothing, food, family and friends. We sometimes forget the good past and are discouraged by the current bad situation. First, be grateful for all the things God has blessed you with.
Then ask God for the forgiveness of all the wrongs you have committed. Sometimes we are punished for things we have done unapologetically. God corrects His own; He might bring sickness upon you so that you may remember Him and turn to Him. Therefore in sickness, repent all your wrongs and those of your loved ones.
Have faith that whatever you pray will be answered. According to Hebrews the 11th chapter, Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Be positive already and believe you are healed. The faith one has in God is what heals us. Approach God with positivity believing that he has already done what you ask for.
If you’re struggling with pain, you can also use specific prayers for pain relief.
You can also mention to God all the things you have done to serve Him. You might have helped the needy, washed the places of worship, fed the orphans, and sang praise for Him in Church. The Bible says whatever we do unto God’s children we do it unto Him. Remind God for all those services you have done unto people and ask Him to bless you with healing for that. He would be obligated to heal you, not that healing is conditional for Him, but because He would remember and reward your actions.
When praying for healing also promise God that you will serve Him with all your heart. During an interview, we assure the interviewers that when we get the job we will work very hard, also assure God that you will give back for your healing and don’t fail. Ask for a second chance and you will be a better Christian than you have never been before.

I look forward, with joyful expectation, to the perfect wholeness that you are now bringing into manifestation through me. I believe in your constant expression of perfect good in and through me. I rest in the certainty of your healing power. I know that with you all things are possible.
