You Don’t Have A Soulmate
Karen Wilmer

It can be done. My partner and I were a case of “love at first sight.” Once we admitted our feelings to each other, we were never voluntarily apart again. Thirty years of good times and bad, sickness and health, and a whole lot more poorer than richer, but we came through it all hand-in-hand. Never a cheat, just an ongoing commitment to the idea that “Leaving is never, ever an option.” Her ring is still on my hand, her urn in the living room, still not far away.
