I love that you wrote this! I spent more of my life as an atheist than not, and I used to talk to God when I was in my most atheist days (I was in the Douglas Adams and humanist clubs at school, natch) — and he actually talked back! He called me his “Little Atheist” and he liked me for it.

You did a really good job talking to Him — better than many of the Christians or former Christians who were given some stilted or boxed-in way of speaking in prayer. My speech to Him often consists of me screaming at Him and being really mad at him, plus using the word “hate” a lot. I also curse like trucker. I’m from NYC, sorry God you made me this way.

Ok the real reason I’m writing is b/c…how did you make your title picture the cover? Did you just pick a really large pic? My photos are all small now and I haven’t been able to make that gorgeous banner in years on Medium.
