Beautiful article, I could have highlighted the whole post! Thank you for sharing this, this is where I am now too. Where wearing a mask feels so terrible to and for me, it really does register as a painful form of self-betrayal now. Also the switching between different masks is something I have felt too (recovering people-pleaser with underachieving and overachieving tendencies) and now I just want to choose to say to hell with it and be my full, authentic self. ❤️
