Bryant Park Film Festival in Midtown, NYC

Screening movies in Bryant Park has become an NYC institution. For more than two decades, this Film Festival sponsored by HBO screens the most popular summer movie series in the city including Hollywood classics and current blockbusters. This can be a great opportunity to watch movies in outdoor venues with stunning backdrops of Manhattan skyline.

Almost all screenings start at dusk ie. around 8:30pm so arrive early to claim a seat on the lawn as it opens at 5 pm. It would be best to arrive at 4.30 pm to a get secured spot on the grass in front of the 20 feet high screen. Attending the screening can also be a great opportunity for socializing, dining and hanging out with friends over a movie. Another good news is that whether it’s beer or wine or something you’ve brought with you-all will be allowed to carry inside at the festival!
