Top tech conferences & journals to attend or submit a paper to

From looking at the descriptions of various tech jobs posted by companies like Google, Apple, Microsoft etc. I noticed that many of them will view a candidate as a promising one if they have some published research work. I noticed most of them name the same few top prestigious conferences.
So if you are a researcher of an aspiring one, it might benefit you to submit your work in the below conferences or attend them to get some exposure.
1. NIPS
NeurIPS (Conference on Neural Information Processing Systems)
One of the most famous conferences specialising in machine learning, computational neuroscience and artificial intelligence. Top tech companies love candidates who have a publication in NIPS.

International Conference on Machine Learning
Clear by the name, it focusses on machine learning. It is also one of the 2 most prestigious conferences along with NeurIPS in ML and AI research. It was first held in 1980.
