My wife and I watch the show completely differently. I really care about who did it, and want the mystery solved — rooting, of course, for Naz to be innocent, get out of there, and get back on track. But my wife literally doesn’t care about guilt or innocence like she normally would. With “The Night Of,” she is so fascinated by process and the characters various descents into _______. She even seems to think it may end without an answer, which I don’t think HBO would do to us (also, isn’t this based on something?) I am having a hard time understanding why she doesn’t care if he’s innocent or not. Any other households out there experiencing this dissonance in how you or your significant view the show?
