Law Of The Coven
So, in my church we've been destroying witches and reclaiming our "destinies" from the coven. But it seems the power of the coven is no match for our prayers.
Today, I settled with the fact that we "Christians" love the blame game. We are never responsible for our predicaments, someone is always sending "it" from the village, our "father's compound" to be precise. Maybe someone is after you, yes it happens. But sometimes, we are our own enemies. We are the enemies we "cast and bind", the enemies we command "die by fire" on.
I noticed a woman across, she screamed the loudest "Amen!" when the Reverend prayed the death of "our enemies", and then she turns around after every "Amen". It's obvious, Mama already knows the "demon" tormenting her life, taking her joy from her and "seating on her destiny". That "demon" is seated in the church with her, shouting "Amen", clapping her hands and turning to look at her also. We'll see who dies by fire first.
We pray against the coven, but go behind to aid the coven. We daily quote the "ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find... " part of the bible, forgetting that God rewards the "works of our hands".
So, we sleep and flex for Eighteen hours, then pray and fast for Six hours for that job. Don't forget that we scout for these jobs on our couch, very important. Then later, we take a stroll to the church, to scream, "everything holding my destiny.....". With your level of hard work, I think you're your own "foot stool". So much for the "works of your hand".
On the other hand, the guys at the Coven are flexing all the muscles they have, working and "flying" all night and you think the "works of their hand" won't be regarded? You walked up to the door, and opened the door to that "Coven".
We sing "Covenant keeping God..." every Sunday, but the bargain is one sided. We sing "Give and it will come back to you...", but all that concerns you is the "....come back to you..." part. Well, we'll see how that works out. How you want to "receive" is what I want to understand. Because, pay tithe, mba, help the poor, mba also. What exactly do you want to receive?
Read about the rich guys around, you'd always find "Philanthropist" in the cut. But we're not big yet abi? I thought so too. And then, you want to complain when church funds are misused, is it your money?
Maybe, we should keep dancing, and shouting and most importantly, speak in tongues, commanding fire to consume our enemies. That fire might catch up with the "enemy" soon.
It's alright to pray, God listens, and he will help but maybe it's also OK to be lackadaisical with your self and blame the guys at the coven. By the time the enemy dies, maybe that "destiny" would be released, but wait, I thought "your destiny is in your hands"? But still, I don't know how your faith works.
