The Formula To Entrepreneurship

Many of us dream of having our own business; Branching out and putting our own ideas, decisions and visions out to the world. Many accomplish just that and most even on multiple tries but we continue to push ourselves. Others will struggle on how to get there. Maybe you don’t have enough time or money or energy. It all becomes too overwhelming when we want it now.
Here is our secret and formula towards taking steps towards entrepreneurship while having our 9–5.
There are 168 hours in a week and we can only do so much. Here is the ultimate breakdown to be sure you stay on top of your work/day job while maintaining a healthy lifestyle and working towards your passion job.
5% The smallest commitment, but yet the one that goes the most unforgotten is the time we take for ourselves. Whether it’s reading a book for 30 minutes, taking a yoga class or enjoying the silence of the morning — make this commitment the most important.
8% towards commuting. Face it, it’s part of our daily routine and our commute is where we spend some of the most quality time. Whether it’s driving the kids to school or coming back on the train most of us aren’t lucky enough that our commute is right around the block.
24% towards our day job. We want to put in the best effort we have and do a great job, but we don’t want to let it consume us that we get lost in our ultimate path. Remember if the time comes to leave, you’ll want to be sure to leave with grace, class and respect and hopefully keep the relation/friendships we’ve built.
8% is dedicated to eating. Not on the go, but sitting and taking a break to properly chew and enjoy our food and even the company that comes with it. Taking the time to have our breakfast, lunch and dinner also gives us the right fuel we need as well as helps us to eat healthier and also stops us eating at our desk.
33% of our week should be getting adequate shut-eye. We need to rest and in order for us to feel healthy and rejuvenated, we need to get at least 8 hours of sleep a day.
13% Ain’t nothing fun about not having fun. Take it with pride and less quilt, but life is worth living so have fun!
8% Is the time that you set aside to focus on your new project, great idea and make it a reality. This allows on average about 2 hours/day and appropriate energy to keep you going. Of course this is just the beginning and those 2 hours will become more, but the start is always the toughest. Find what 2 hours of your day work best in your schedule and keep to it. Set up the right inspiring work space and let that be your space to escape into creative bliss.
With this formula towards entrepreneurship you’ll be well on your way one step at a time!
