Drilling and Storing can be split on size, safety, cost.

Now FPSO: 225,900 DWT stores 1,507,953 Barrel gas from

1320 m deep water at a production of 100,000 Barrel/day.

Weight allocation for drilling is 116,000DWT and for

NG is 110,000 DWT. [ 72.5 kg/Brl]

Cost of drill equipment’s are same for both and separate.

FPSO Cost: 116+110 = 226 mn$ at 1000$/T

But Drill + FSO Cost: 116+ 1.5 = 117.5 mn$

Saved 226–117.5= 108.5 mn$/unit 48 %

Same FPSO-Oil = Drill+ FSO-Oil concept is for Oil also.

Demo:2m.2m.5m=20 cbm= 126 Brl= 126$, in 3mm thk shell.
