2014 Latin GRAMMY® Award Going High Tech
There’s a first time for everything, and after that, it can never happen again. This year, the Latin Recording Academy® is going to shout out the nominees for the 2014 GRAMMY® Awards from the highest mountain via that social networking site known to the throngs as Twitter. The announcement for the 15th annual event will be made Wednesday, Sept. 24, at 4 a.m. PT/7 a.m. ET via video enabling fans of Latin music across the world to take part in the event. The news will be followed by a day filled with social interaction as fans are encouraged to tweet congratulatory messages to artists who earned nominations by using the official Latin GRAMMY® hashtag #LatinGRAMMY. The full list of nominees, the press release and the video will be released at the same time at the official Latin Grammy® site www.latingrammy.com.
